Dr. Hatem Ahmed Adela has obtained his Ph.D. from Zagazig University in Egypt, under the supervision of Prof. Sultan Abu Ali, the former Minister of Economy. He has been teaching in many universities in Egypt, along with many training courses, the most recent was provided to Ras Al Khaimah government employees in financial analysis in March 2021. As well as participated in several international conferences, also worked as a consultant at Saudi Egyptian Holding Company for Investment. He is a member of the Egyptian Association for Political Economy, Statistics and Legislation, also a member of an Advisory International Editorial board of Al-Falah Journal of Islamic economics, indexed in SCOPUS. He has published many types of research in the areas of economic development, stock market, foreign direct investment, crime economics, value-added tax, financial analysis of economic sectors and companies, and the Islamic economy. Dr. Hatem awarded the University of Sharjah Prize for Islamic Economics Research in the areas of economics for the year 2019. He continues his work at the American University in the Emirates as a faculty member. Dr. Hatem has the promotion to the rank of Associate Professor on June 7, 2019.
