The Media, Branding, and Events Management Department is the American University in the Emirates’ representative to national and international media outlets. It works across the University with all colleges and institutes, faculty and staff departments, students and alumni to maintain and build their reputation with print, broadcast and digital media.

Media, Branding, and Events Management Department is responsible for:
- Issuing press releases and articles on university activities.
- Arranging and facilitating media coverage of events.
- Promoting the University and its programs, colleges and faculty and student achievements and developments
- Updating catalogues and creating marketing material, as well as managing all university websites.
- Providing support for students through their student publications and developing student and faculty newspapers.
- Fostering relationships with the external community to further the name of the University.
