  • Jill Alexandria is a painter, art historian, restorer in fresco medieval painting, innovator and international educator. Her main emphases are merging education and art by using her currently countries’ ornamentation and transforming it into visual stories. Her stimulus is “Urban Ornamentation” which comes from signs and symbols that define a culture which can be found in its specific environment. She has been showing and selling her work for the past twenty-five years mainly in New York, Boston and Rhode Island and has been highlighted in multiple publications.

    Since 1986, Jill has been teaching in the United States, Kuwait and Lebanon. She specializes in Foundation Studies, Fine Arts and Art History. Her aim in teaching is to mix both the past with the present creating a balanced art education in international diverse cultures.

    Jill received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration at the renowned Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island and Her Masters of Fine Arts at the Cranbrook Academy of Arts in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan as well as a professional certificate in the Medici School of restoration in Florence, Italy.
