- Dr.Omar Mohamed is a distinguished academic specializing in sports management, with extensive expertise in sports organizations, marketing, and social media engagement. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physical Education, specializing in Sports Management, from Benha University, Egypt, in 2021. Dr.Omar Mohamed has cultivated a comprehensive teaching portfolio, delivering courses on a wide array of topics, including Scientific Principles of Sports Management, Public Relations and Media in Sports, Marketing in Sports, Crisis Management in Sports, Human Resources in Sports, Methods of Managing Sports Competitions, Legislation and Laws in Sports, Governmental and Private Organizations in Sports, Sports Facilities and Infrastructure, and Introduction to Sports Recreation.
- Beyond his teaching responsibilities, he supervises graduate theses and plays an active role in departmental operations and committee work. His research interests encompass sports management, sports marketing, social media and fan engagement, and sport for development and peace. His notable publications include studies on improving managerial performance within sports departments and a comparative analysis of the term "Kinesiology" as used in the names of institutions studying physical activity in the United States and Arab countries.
