Dr. Nasser Mohamed El-Sherman is an Associate Professor of Commercial Law and the Director of the Bachelor of Law Program at the American University in the Emirates. He holds a Ph.D. in Commercial Law from the Faculty of Law, Cairo University, 2011.

Before joining the American University in the Emirates, he worked as a lawyer and legal advisor, and certified arbitrator specializing in arbitration.

He has published many books and many types of research in refereed scientific journals, such as the TRIPS Agreement, the financial leasing contracts, the foreign arbitration rulings, the legality of exemption, commercial disputes, air transport contract, the parties' guarantees in the face of the arbitrator in UAE law. Dr. Nasser Al-Sharman has also participated in supervising and discussing many master's theses and in many conferences and scientific symposiums.
