Dr. Nahla Yassine-Hamdan is a mediation and international relations expert and an author on contemporary political conflicts in the Middle East. She currently teaches online at Central Michigan University and at the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan since 2002. She has also served as a Regional Conflict Thematic Analysis Specialist with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)
Dr. Yassine-Hamdan holds a Masters degree in political science from the American University of Beirut and a PhD in political science from Wayne State University in the United States. She is a certified mediator and has served on numerous advisory boards and AdvancED accreditation teams.
