Dr. Saloome Showkat is a distinguished scholar with expertise in Talent Management, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, and Sustainability . Her academic work integrates behavioral science, innovation dynamics, and institutional analysis to understand how organizations navigate workforce transitions and performance challenges. Her research interests include global talent mobility, sustainable HR practices, employee-friendly policy frameworks, organizational citizenship behavior, gender and inclusivity, and digital transformation. She has published extensively in high-impact Q1 journals, including the European Journal of Innovation Management, Thunderbird International Business Review, International Social Work, Sustainability, and The Journal of Technology Transfer, contributing to contemporary debates on institutional shocks, innovation-led development, and sustainable organizational ecosystems.
Dr. Saloome has substantial experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in HRM, public sector HR, international business, organizational behavior, and training and development. She is recognized for developing learner-centered curricula, designing assessment frameworks, guiding accreditation processes, and leading academic quality initiatives. Her administrative portfolio includes serving as Director of Research and Evaluation, where she led multidisciplinary research initiatives, strengthened institutional research capacity, and supported evidence-based academic planning. She has supervised student research, contributed to academic advising systems, and played a key role in curriculum enhancement and outcome-based education alignment.
She holds a Ph.D. in Management, an MBA with specialization in Human Resource and Marketing, and a BBA in Business, supported by multiple international professional qualifications, including repeated success in the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET).
