Dr. Ahmad Salman is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics. He earned his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Manchester, UK, with a focus on machine learning, speech processing, and data analytics. His doctoral research produced state-of-the-art advancements in speaker recognition using deep neural architectures. With over 13 years of academic experience across the UK, Pakistan, and the UAE, Dr. Salman has held prominent roles, including Associate Professor at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan and now in American University in the Emirates, Dubai.
Alongside academia, Dr. Salman has extensive industry experience, having worked as Senior Scientist at VEEVE Inc. in Seattle, where he led machine learning teams to develop contactless retail solutions. He continues to consult for leading companies such as EZShifa, where he is developing AI-based health monitoring applications, and Fox Sports USA, where he contributes to deep learning solutions for game data analytics.
