Mr. Abdullatif Abdulla Ahmed Al Mulla currently serves as Group Chief Executive Office of RMB, a conglomerate in the real estate development and contracting sector. Prior to this, Mr. Al Mulla took the helm of Dubai Properties Group (DPG) as Group CEO, bringing with him over two decades of experience in strategic leadership. In addition, he has held a number of senior leadership roles, including as Group CEO at TECOM Investments, where he played an instrumental role in growing the 11 business communities of the firm—a key part of Dubai’s transformation into a knowledge-based economy.

Mr. Al Mulla has always been a visionary leader responsible for giving strategic direction and driving new initiatives, and over the course of his career, he has frequently had the overall responsibility for managing entities and ensuring the development of commercially and strategic viable projects. For instance, Mr. Al Mulla has also served as CEO of SmartCity, which oversees the development and management of knowledge clusters and business townships across the globe. He has also served as the General Manager of Microsoft Gulf. Indeed, in his nine-year stint at the Microsoft regional headquarters in Dubai, he led the development of subsidiaries in the Gulf, Yemen and Pakistan, and he played an instrumental role in bagging Microsoft’s first ever enterprise agreement in the world with the Dubai Government, which put Dubai on the Microsoft radar.

Mr. Al Mulla has a master’s degree in Economic and Social Development and Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as a master’s in Corporate Communication from the Duquesne University. He is and has been board member of a several prestigious organizations, including TECOM Investments, Dubai Properties, the Dubai Education Council, Muscat Bank, Marfin Investment, Axiom Telecom, the American University in UAE, Sheikh Hamdan Smart University, UTICO, Empower, EMS, SmartCity and SHUAA Capital PSC. While at Microsoft, Mr. Al Mulla was conferred the Microsoft High Distinguished President Award in 1998. He was a member of the Microsoft Middle East and Africa Leadership Program and he is considered one of the highest rated General Managers in the world at present.
