Dr. Mahany earned his PhD in Public Relations from Cairo University in 2020, graduating with first-class honors. His academic journey also includes a Master’s in Public Relations (2015) and a Master’s in Mass Communications (2012), both from Cairo University, as well as a BS in Communications Engineering (2007). His teaching philosophy centers on fostering critical thinking, encouraging students to connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications, and promoting a collaborative learning environment.

Dr. Mahany’s research interests encompass corporate social responsibility (CSR), the use of modern technologies in marketing communications, and the socio-cultural impacts of social media. His notable publications, such as “E-Marketing use of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data analysis applications and its impact on privacy in the digital age,” reflect his commitment to exploring contemporary issues in digital communication and media.

Dr. Mahmoud Mahany is an esteemed Assistant Professor at the Canadian International College for Media Technologies (CIC) in Cairo, Egypt. With 10+ years of teaching experience, His areas of expertise include public relations, Integrated Marketing Communications, Strategic Communications Management, Communication Technologies (AI, big data, IoT, Social Media, etc.) and mass communication.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Mahany has played a pivotal role in coordinating international scientific conferences at CIC, contributing significantly to the institution’s academic reputation. He has been recognized with awards such as the “Best Scientific Research” and “Quality Star” for his contributions to research and quality assurance. Dr. Mahany is also an active member of the Young Researchers Initiative in Egypt and has participated in various international workshops and conferences, further highlighting his dedication to academic excellence and professional development.
