About
In line with ‘UAE Centennial 2071’ that was launched by his Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum “to prepare the nation for future generations,” the AUE Annual Student Research Competition (AUESRC) continues, in its 5th edition, to promote scientific research among undergraduate and graduate students. AUESRC aims at instilling life-long learning, reinforcing students’ future employability skills, and fostering entrepreneurial mindsets and attitudes pertinent to education, research, and innovation.
University students, enrolled either in UAE or abroad, are encouraged to present and share their research outcomes with their peers. AUESRC opens the opportunity for students who have completed a significant scholarly or creative project to present their work. Eligible projects include major classroom scholarly research projects, basic research, applied research, commercial research, theses and dissertations, capstone projects, creative works in art and design, and literary analysis that reveals new connections and insights.
In a rapidly changing world, let us communicate to make our society happier and more cohesive. AUESRC provides annually a platform to share explicit knowledge, through data and records, as well as tacit knowledge through experience, thinking, competence, commitment, and deed.
“Rapid changes require us to prepare future generations with new tools and knowledge, and different skills that enable them to succeed in a world that will be very different from the times we live in today.” His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
