Dr. Tariq Saali earned his PhD in Mathematics with specialization in Statistics from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He also holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Public Business Administration from Canadian institutions. His areas of expertise include applied mathematics, statistics, copula-based dependence modeling, quantitative modeling, and multivariate statistical analysis, with an emphasis on sound mathematical and statistical reasoning applied to educational and analytical contexts.
His research interests focus on applied statistics, copula theory and dependence modeling, and the integration of artificial intelligence into quantitative assessment and learning analytics, with recent work addressing statistical modeling applications in technology-enhanced education. He has extensive experience in teaching mathematics and statistics and contributes to course development and academic teaching practices in higher education. His work has been acknowledged through research and academic performance awards, and he continues to engage in scholarly activities related to teaching and research.
