Dr. Nahla Moussa has joined the American University in the Emirates (AUE) in Fall 2019 as an assistant professor at the College of Education. She earned her Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Education from Auburn University, Alabama, USA. Her dissertation focused on the examination of learning styles and technology perceptions among higher education students. Dr. Nahla is a certified teaching faculty from the Biggio Center at Auburn University, USA, and also she is a certified program evaluator. Dr. Nahla has experience in curriculum development and educational program planning. Prior to joining AUE, she taught at different Universities in UAE, such as the American University of Sharjah, University of Sharjah, and Hamdan Bin Mohamed Smart University. Dr. Nahla uses many innovative teaching styles in her classrooms to engage her students in the teaching and learning process. She also contributes to community services in UAE at many places such as the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, Sharjah. Her research interests include exploring motivation to learning and the impact of Web 2.0 technology on perception.
