Nesrine Kaddoura is a higher education faculty member with a multidisciplinary background in Entrepreneurship, Finance, Retail Banking, Project Management, IT and Network projects. She is currently in her second academic year in higher education, teaching Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Business Communication, where she draws on her extensive practical business experience to introduce students to real-world business models, entrepreneurial challenges, innovation, and project-based business applications. Her approach to teaching emphasizes experiential learning, creativity, problem-solving, and connecting academic concepts with actual business practices.
Nesrine began her career in the UAE banking sector, where she worked for five years in retail banking, gaining practical experience in financial services and banking operations. In 2011, she made a significant career transition by becoming a partner and co-founder of a general trading company based in Dubai. Through this experience, she developed extensive expertise in business operations, IT and networking projects, project management, and business development. In 2023, the business received an award from the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) in the Medium Projects category. The business has also been a strategic partner of the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) and has successfully delivered several projects for the Ministry, reflecting its achievements and experience in the field.
Nesrine holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Southeastern University, Washington, D.C.. She obtained the CFC (Certified Financial Consultant) certification from Canada in 2007. Her primary research interest is Project Finance Management, particularly in Project Financing Strategies, and Project Financial Performance.
