Dr. Seema Jaiswal is an Assistant Professor of History in the College of Education at the American University in the Emirates, Dubai, and has extensive academic and teaching experience in History, Sociology, Social Sciences, and related interdisciplinary fields. Her areas of expertise include World History, Middle East History, Social and Economic History, Gender Studies, Education, Contemporary Global Politics, Social Psychology, and the application of Technology and AI in education. She qualified the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) for Lectureship. Her academic approach emphasizes interdisciplinary and collaborative learning, strong analytical skills, and teaching within multicultural educational environments. She has also contributed to academic administration, curriculum development, assessment, student mentoring, accreditation activities, and university research initiatives.
Her research interests encompass World History, Middle East History, Gender Studies, Education, Migration, and Technology and AI. Her published research includes “Patriarchy and Status of Women” (2019), “Gender Perspective in the Writings of Lala Lajpat Rai” (2000), “Lala Lajpat Rai on Gender Relations” (2000), and “Lala Lajpat Rai on National Education” (2004).
