Dr. Ahmad Alsharairi is an Assistant Professor at the American University in the Emirates, specializing in Public Relations and Organizational Communication. His expertise encompasses digital public relations, crisis communication, communication strategies, and the evolving impact of digital technologies and artificial intelligence on contemporary communication.

His research examines the transformation of public relations and organizational communication in digital environments. His research interests include online public relations, crisis communication, reputation management, and the growing role of artificial intelligence in communication. His recent research has addressed online public relations practices, digital crisis management, and the integration of artificial intelligence into organizational communication. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus. He has teaching and academic experience in public relations and organizational communication and has supervised master’s students, as well as undergraduate research and graduation projects. Prior to joining the American University in the Emirates, he served for two years as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Digital Media at Zarqa University, Jordan. Ahmad Alsharairi holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Public Relations and Organizational Communication from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Malaysia.
