College of Health Sciences
Established in 2025, the College of Health Sciences (CHS) began with two CAA-accredited undergraduate programs: the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and the Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy (BScPT). At CHS, students are prepared for real healthcare careers through a strong mix of classroom learning, clinical placements, and advanced simulation training. Our graduates enter the workforce ready to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care that meets the needs of hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, and community health settings across the UAE and beyond.
The College features a state-of-the-art Simulation Center, where students learn in realistic hospital and rehabilitation environments. Using high-fidelity manikins, immersive scenarios, and virtual reality (VR) technologies, students practice their clinical skills in a safe environment before working with real patients. This hands-on approach builds confidence, critical thinking, and professional competence.
The American University in the Emirates is institutionally licensed by the UAE’s Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) under MOHESR. Both the BSN and BScPT programs are CAA accredited, ensuring students graduate with recognized qualifications that meet national and regional healthcare workforce needs.
