The American University in the Emirates is committed to enhancing and expanding student and academic support services based on best practices to support both current students and university alumni. The Career & Internship Office forms part of the Student Services Department and offers a variety of services that encourage and support AUE alumni and students. The Career & Internship Office specifically works to ensure the readiness of AUE students as they transition from student life to becoming active members of the regional or global workforce.

AUE places a high value on supporting students and alumni in career counseling and job placement; career development and job preparedness; and internship placement and support. The main portal for accessing this support is the Career & Internship Office, which is located on the second floor of Block 6. This office helps students gain real-world, practical experience in their chosen field of study. The following services are available for all AUE students and alumni:
