About The Test
The TOEFL ITP® tests is available in paper and pencil test format. The tests used to evaluate the English-language proficiency of non-native English speakers.
All questions are multiple choice, and the tests evaluate skills in 3 areas :
- Listening Comprehension measures the ability to understand spoken English as it is used in colleges and universities.
- Structure and Written Expression measures recognition of selected structural and grammatical points in standard written English.
- Reading Comprehension measures the ability to read and understand academic reading material written in English.

The test fee is AED 840.
An original valid passport or Emirates ID or Driving License.
The eligibility criteria may differ from university to university, please check with the Admission and Registration Department about the English proficiency Entry requirements.
AUE COVID 19 Requirements
- All visitors will be allowed access and logged from the main entrance only which is located at block 6 ground floor.
- Wearing of facemask is mandatory on the university campus premises, failure to comply would deprive of entry.
- All visitors shall undergo a mandatory temperature check before entering the campus, a body temperature of 37.5◦Celsius and above will not be allowed to enter the campus.
- The visitor should download the ALHOSN mobile application to link the PCR test result.
- All visitors should have a negative PCR test results done within 48 hours prior to entering the university and the PCR test should be done in the UAE.
- If the visitor has COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough, or colds either minor, moderate, or severe will not be allowed entry to the university campus.
