Message from the University Patron, H.E Muhammad Bin Bduwah Al Darmaki

I am honored to be a Patron of the Board of Trustees at the American University in the Emirates (AUE).

At AUE, we believe that an investment in education is an investment in people and their promising futures. As such, AUE is committed to developing and enhancing its accredited academic programs, services, and facilities to enable AUE stakeholders to achieve their goals.

In 2005, we set ourselves an ambitious goal of establishing a quality higher education institution in the UAE with a mission to offer outstanding learning and educational services to the community. We are deeply grateful to those who have assisted us and participated in the accomplishment of this goal. Together, we are establishing a university in the region that is truly capable of making difference.

Over the years, though we faced many challenges, we have remained steadfast in our determination to continue the fulfillment of the university’s mission of providing accessible and valuable higher education to the UAE and the region.

Since the early years of its inception, AUE has become a distinguished and competitive institution that offers its students a proven avenue into useful and valued employment. In their various disciplines, faculty members have more than proven their commitment to contributing to the knowledge economy, helping students to develop their talents and experiences and giving them the confidence to make a genuine difference in the world. Above all, the efforts of AUE faculty, students and staff have shown beyond doubt that the university is capable of pursuing the never-ending quest for high-quality education.

We appreciate the dedication and commitment of all AUE stakeholders and the invaluable contributions they make to higher education in the UAE. We also appreciate their encouragement and adherence to the fulfillment of AUE’s ambitious vision.
