Dr Marija Runic Ristic is an Assistant Professor of Human resource management at the American University in the Emirates. She received her PhD from Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. Her main research interests are in human resource management, leadership, and organizational behavior.
She is the author of numerous conference papers and journal articles on human resource management and management issues ranging from employment relations, organizational behavior, ethical behavior and corporate best practices. She has published a monograph dealing with the process of management professionalization in Serbian society.
Prior to working at AUE, Dr Marija taught at the University of Novi Sad. Besides teaching, Dr. Marija also worked as a recruiter for a headhunting agency and participate in various projects financed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia.
