Dr. John Maszka

Assistant Professor, College of Media & Mass Communication

Dr. John Maszka is an International Relations scholar with an expertise is terrorism and violent extremism. Born in America, Dr. Maszka completed his BA and both MA degrees in the United States and his PhD in the United Kingdom. Dr. Maszka has lived and taught in the United States, East Asia, Central Asia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. He is the author of five books, eleven journal articles and recently contributed a chapter to the Handbook of Terrorism and Counter Terrorism Post 9/11. Dr. Maszka is currently completing a book on the global challenges of a rising China.
