Dr. Bassant Eyada is an Associate Professor of IMC and Advertising at the College of Media and Mass Communication at the American University in the Emirates. Dr. Eyada received Performance and Evaluation Award and Program Development Award from AUE, and Award for Distinction of Quality Assurance and Effectiveness from Ahram Canadian University.
She earned her Ph.D in Political Advertising from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Egypt, 2010, and her masters in TV Advertising from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Egypt, 2003. Published several researches in the fields of Advertising, Marketing, Crisis Management, Design Creativity, and Political Advertising.
She is an Associate Editor and Referee for The International Journal of Social, Political and Community Agendas in the Arts - CG Publisher, USA. Associate Editor and reviewer for Journal of Design Sciences and Applied Arts.
Dr. Eyada has 17 years of industrial experience as a Graphics and Advertising Designer (Egypt), Assistant Director (Kuwait Television), TV and Film Editor (TM Video for Editing and Post Production, Egypt) and Marketing Manager (Dubai), and owner of HB Company for Advertising and Graphic Design (Egypt).
Dr. Eyada has been in the teaching field for 18 years (The Arts and Design Academy in association with Georgia State University, University for Modern Sciences & Arts in association with Middlesex University, and Ahram Canadian University) as well as being the Head of Quality Assurance at the Faculty of Mass Communication at the Ahram Canadian University. Organized several workshops, symposiums and forums, and has led several community service and awareness campaigns.
