Applicants for Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Public Relations (Arabic) should submit Valid (EmSAT- Arabic) test report with minimum score of 1000 as part of the admission requirements to the program
Students who are unable to meet the admission requirements regarding the TOEFL or IELTS English Proficiency test scores (see above) are conditionally admitted to the Intensive English Program (IEP) offered by the English Language Institute (ELI) provided that they obtain the required scores of 500+ AUE TOEFL or 5.0+ Academic IELTS or 61+ iBT TOEFL test. Before the end of their first semester at the university.
New students at all undergraduate programs will have to sit for placement tests as per their program of study.
All new undergraduate students will need to sit for placement tests in computer technology, students who fail in the test, will need to take a preparatory course in computer technology during their first semester in AUE.
Mathematics
All new undergraduate students in the College of Computer Information Technology and College Of Business Administration will need to take placement test in Mathematics, students who fail in the test, will need to take a preparatory course in Mathematics during their first semester in AUE.
Physics
All new undergraduate students in the College of Computer Information Technology will need to take placement test in Physics, students who fail in the test, will need to take a preparatory course in Physics during their first semester in AUE.
All new undergraduate students in the College of Law and Bachelor of Public Relations (Arabic stream) will need to take placement test in Arabic, students who fail in the test, will need to take a preparatory course in Arabic during their first semester in AUE.
All new undergraduate students in the College of Design will need to take placement test in Drawing, students who fail in the test, will need to take a preparatory course in Drawing during their first semester in AUE.
Students who will be studying preparatory courses, will only be able to enroll in maximum of 12 Credit Hours of regular courses during their first semester.
