Dr. Farouq Saber Al-Shibli is an Associate Professor of Law at American University in the Emirates. He is a practice-oriented academic with extensive industry experience in areas of legal research, arbitration law, administrative law, Islamic law from America, Europe and Asia. He holds a PhD in Law from the University of Manchester/UK, and master & Bachelor degree in law from the University of Jordan.

Research interests of Dr. Farouq are related to Administrative law, Arbitration Law, Mediation Law, Islamic Law, Constitutional Law. He has also been a reviewer of numerous international journal and conference.
In addition to teaching, research and legal experience, Dr. Farouq is also dedicated to community development and engagement especially in increasing people’s legal culture.
