Ms. Salma Banouri

Instructor, College of Education

Ms. Salma holds a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) as well as a B.A. in English Studies and an M.A. in Postcolonial literature completed at the University of Tunis and the Université de Montréal , Canada , respectively.

Ms. Salma also holds a Graduate diploma in Translation from Concordia University, Canada.
Most importantly, she has always been a passionate learner/ teacher of languages. She believes that teaching is fundamentally intertwined with learning. She is therefore primarily dedicated to helping her students become the best learners they can be.

Ms. Salma speaks 3 languages and thrives in culturally diverse environments. She has worked with a variety of students including adult learners, college students, as well as learners with disabilities. She has worked for the Ministry of Defense and the Higher College of Technology in the Sultanate of Oman before coming to Dubai.
