Ms. Randa Al Teraifi

Instructor , College of Education

Ms. Al-Teraifi is an Instructor of Mathematics and Statistics at the College of Education at AUE. She holds a First class Hons. Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Sussex University and a Master of Science degree in Biometry from the university of Reading in the UK. Her master’s thesis was conducted in collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline and investigated methods for analysing longitudinal data in the presence of missing data. Before joining AUE, Ms. Al-Teraifi taught Mathematics and Statics at Princess Nora Bint Abdulrahman university in Saudi Arabia, which is also the largest female university in the world. Prior to this position she worked in the research and consulting industry and held various research and analytics positions. Ms. Al-Teraifi is very passionate about her field and enjoys explaining and applying complex mathematical theories. She is also versed in the use of various statistical software, including SAS, and its related programming /analytics features. She has also volunteered in organizations seeking to support and help unaccompanied minors seeking asylum in the UK.
