Mrs. Marlowe is an instructor of science in the College of Education. She holds Bachelor's degrees in Marine Biology and Biology from Stockton University, USA. Mrs. Marlowe holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Montclair State University, USA, and an additional Master’s in Science Education from Montana State University, USA. While at Montana State University, she investigated the impact of the flipped classroom on student stress and achievement. Prior to joining AUE, Mrs. Marlowe taught sciences in various schools in Dubai and New Jersey; she has also worked in water resource management in both New Jersey and Arizona.
Mrs. Marlowe believes in an active, student centered classroom. Her instructional methods include blended learning, project based learning, and inquiry studies; as such, she is looking forward to incorporating these techniques with students at AUE to further their understanding of the environmental and natural world.
