Dr. Marios Efthymiopoulos

Associate Professor / Dean, College of Security and Global Studies

Dr. Marios Efthymiopoulos, is the Director of the Master of Arts Program in Security and Strategic Studies. He is Associate Professor of Strategy and Security, at the College of Media and Mass Communication.

Dr. Efthymiopoulos held prior academic positions among others, at the Harriman Institute at Columbia University, The Center for Transatlantic Relations, Johns Hopkins, University, SAIS, George Washington European Center for Excellence & the Business School, The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and was affiliated with the University of South Florida. He is a graduate of the NATO Defense College (105) in 2005, having been appointed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece as Second Secretary of Embassy.

A P.h.D Scholar of the Onassis foundation, Dr. Efthymiopoulos is an advisor and member of the Council on Geostrategic Affairs, attached to the President of Cyprus and the founder and CEO of Strategy International (www.strategyinternational.org).
