Dr. Bassant Eyada is an Associate Professor and Department Chair at the College of Media and Mass Communication at the American University in the Emirates.
She earned her P.h.D in Political Advertising from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Egypt, 2010, and her masters in TV Advertising from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Egypt, 2003.
She has published nine researches in the field of advertising and marketing.
She has also worked as an Associate Editor and Referee for The International Journal of Social, Political and Community Agendas in the Arts - CG Publisher, USA and as a Professional Trainer of newspaper and magazine layouts at Al Jazeera Media Training and Development Center, Doha, Qatar.
Dr. Eyada worked as a Graphics and Advertising Designer (Egypt), Assistant Director (Kuwait Television), TV and Film Editor (TM Video for Editing and Post Production, Egypt) and Marketing Manager (Dubai).
Dr. Eyada has been in the teaching field for 15 years (The Arts and Design Academy in association with Georgia State University, University for Modern Sciences & Arts in association with Middlesex University, and Ahram Canadian University) as well as being the Head of Quality Assurance at the Faculty of Mass Communication at the Ahram Canadian University.
