Dr. Hadžidedić's areas of expertise include Political Theory, Constitutional Theory, Nationalism Studies, International Relations, Foreign Policy Analysis and Geopolitics. He also accumulated about 20 years of experience as political adviser to several state ministers and party leaders in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
He published two books in the fields of Nationalism Studies and Geopolitics and over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles with research topics covering the areas of International Relations, Political Theory, Constitutional Theory, Comparative Politics and Sociology.
In his most recent academic position as Assistant Professor at the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology, Dr. Hadžidedić successfully taught 13 different courses (State and Government, World Economic Order, Nations and Nationalism, Basics of EU Politics, Introduction to Politics, Foreign Policy Analysis, Introduction to International Relations, Processes of International Negotiation, Power Sharing in Post-Conflict Settings, Comparative Politics, Democracy: Debates in Theory and Practice, Diplomacy: Theory and Practice, International Organisations) in short span of seven semesters and designed new syllabi for six courses.
Dr. Hadžidedić earned his M.A. in Political Sociology from the Central European University, Warsaw, M.Phil. in Government from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Sarajevo.
He is a member of the International Institute for Middle East and Balkan Studies (IFIMES), Ljubljana, and the East-West Bridge think-tank, Belgrade/Zagreb/Sarajevo.
In 2017 Dr. Hadžidedić received the Mentor Award from the Academic Economic Congress (AEC) in Kranj, Slovenia.
